If you cast Ornithopter then his ability will trigger and be placed on the stack before Orni resolves. You will need to return a permanent before Orni hits the board and so will not be able to target it. No infinite Storm unless you have two Ornis.

Seems like one of the most fun uses for Show and Tell, especially when we can bounce City of Traitors with Lotus Petal, then again with Burning Wish for Grapeshot... I want this to happen.

Well, except that you can save him by playing instants. And you're probably playing blue if you're playing this guy, so a counterspell isn't too far-fetched.

Turn 3: "Sorry my friend, you can no longer play the game. feel free to keep putting that land down each turn though"
Mix with some dark ritual (as per the usual) and some discard and they'll not only be stuck without permanents early but without cards soon after!

I miss djinni, ever since they switched the iconic blue flyer to sphinxes. I get that Suleiman's Legacy is a card...but why not have just a block with djinni again? Maybe make them indestructible or destroy red/green permanents as a countermeasure. Just one block...come on Wizards/Hasbro!
