Nearly every card in Time Spiral block was a throwback to at least one previously printed card.
This card references the cycle of Wards from Alpha, such as Black Ward, as well as cards like Ward of Lights or Flickering Ward. So many cards wrapped up into one convenient, card-drawing package!

This is a very playable aura. I used to play it all of the time and it greatly affected games the moment it hit. I dearly miss those days...
