Orcs are my favorite fantasy race and I've never seen them done as poorly as this. Just... wow.

Clear combo with Sek'Kuar, Deathkeeper, its the same set, and chances are they were probably both in the graveyard theme deck anyhow.
Also goes great with Kresh the Bloodbraided, attack and anything that would die anyways, pitch to Kresh

There are much better things to sacrifice creatures to. Ashnod's Altar, Carrion Feeder, Fallen Ideal, Attrition, Brion Stoutarm, and most notably Goblin Bombardment.

Anyway.. beyond the flavor of this card (a shaman using the blood of a creature to send a spell at something else), i kinda severely don't like this card.. could have been pretty incredible if it didn't need to tap, but otherwise is meh.

Are there any better mono-red common sac outlets? I think this guy would work well with the various betrayal spells like Act of Treason.

Massively outclassed in constructed - but so are many cards. Presumably he is a nice sac outlet in Block and Tribal. Also, he's an Orc. So 3.0 - 3.5 ish, easy.

no tiggurix there are much better sac outlets than this, I should know since I built a deck around them.
oh granted if he didn't need to tap to do it it would be slightely better, but since he does...
mortarpod works way better, and that's not even close to being my favorite sac outlet.

Humm, probably in draft could be less horrieble, but defenetly in constructed the ability of tapping make him poor guy. Okey, but anyway as somebody told it can make nice combos with deathkeeper or kresh. You also can eliminate creatures beying passified, I donno, it has a lot of combos, but in fact there a lot of cards whith similar mechanic, but way better... =X
I will give 3 for it
