Soulstoke in Nova Chaser. Turn that one-drop Mothdust Changeling into a second chaser. Feasible on turn 4 via Smokebraider.

I shied away from this guy at first, since it cost a decent bit to activate his ability, and it only lasts a single turn. I was wrong to underestimate him like that though. His true strength is realized in multiplayer, where you have a wide variety of options to chose from, which he can become a copy of at instant speed, as you need it. Not an efficient offensive threat generally, but a very strong reactive control piece with stronger utility as your opponents play stronger things. His main downside is that he will already be chilling on the board before you can use his copy ability (unless you pull off some kind of flash combo or whatever), so your opponent has the opportunity to work around him if they are able. He deserves his current 4/5 in my opinion.

I found a lot of use in this guy in my Quest for Ula's Temple deck. He's the cheapest Leviathan in the game that I can drop him on turn 2 after Quest and he can provide a great defense considering I can use him to block just about anything that swings at me. After Quest gets its three counters, he can become a Stormtide Leviathan, Nemesis of Reason, or I can swing with him and after blockers and stuff have been declared, I can get him to copy Grozoth for a 9/9 beatstick to get around the defender. This thing is sweet. 4.5/5

I often times use Shapesharer as a Legend killer, especially in EDH :)

There are other shapeshifters (can't recall which at the moment) that can grant creature types. Make your opponent's creature a shapeshifter, turn them into their legend, kill two of their creatures at once.
