A good friend of Order of whiteclay, just like master apothecary.

Don't be fooled by the unimpressive line of text. This guy was first-pickable in draft. In casual games he plus some dorks easily halt beatdown.

He's less powerful than the master, but his cost and ease to use makes him better in many decks. Go ahead, play him in your token deck.

Ah, but you can throw this guy into any deck, not just clerics.

Course, I'm not really sure why you would be using this kind of strategy except with clerics...

I'd use this guy over Master Apothecary because I prefer WB clerics instead of monoW; but they're both great IMO.

Note that this guy can tap *anyone* to get the prevent damage, meaning that if you even "sort of" splash other creatures (such as with High-Priest making demons) it becomes pretty worth it to be able to tap them after blocking to make 5/6's instead.
