More important than the Zombie subtype is the fact that Rise from the Grave lets you hit your own graveyard, meaning you won't be relying on your opponents to run creatures for the card to be effective.

Funny Mudbutt. And yeah Beacon of Unrest is better because it gets recycled, but I dont know about rise from the Grave, the fact that you can play this a turn or two faster makes it better in my opinion. But hey turning the creature into a black Zombie might be key in some cases.
