I love this card actually it's deserves 5 stars for the fact that it does a number of things. One it has wither and comes out one turn 2, most of the time. No one will block it because it can usually kill everything by then or it will significantly hurt any creature it blocks, which if the opponent doesn't have removal you get a good amount of your opponent's life down before he is dead. Not only that, but he gets some removal out before you big guys hit the field. So I like him and I run him in my signature casual play deck and he wrecks face.

Sickle Ripper is a great card but it's easy to take down, unless you use one of these: Strands of Undeath or Darksteel Plate. Sickle Ripper or Stigma Lasher with regenerate or instructable thats brutal.
