Such an amazingly creative mechanic, yet such a bad damage/cost relation.
Wish this would at least inhibit regeneration such as Incinerate, or deal a greater amount of damage.
I guess this would have found a bunch of play with these stats and a mana cost of

.
Along with artwork and flavor text, Vorthos is like "Hell yes" - but Spike just thinks "Hell no".

At five mana, this card isn't anywhere near playable.

would have worked much better;

would have been top-notch, but I doubt Wizards would want to print it that cheaply, since you would then get Strafe (or similar) plus a Drudge Skeletons for one fewer cards, and at instant speed no less.

So cool...AMAZING FLAVOR...but I agree with everyone else. {3}{R} would have been better for me, cuz its {R} for the lightning and {2} Drudge Skeleton and another {1} for the skeleton at instant speed.

However as it is now your paying {2} for the instant speed, which is fair...whic means the card as a mechanic isnt amazing.

Still really cool card...possibly goin in an EDH deck for that reason alone.

i guess you could say its a mixture of lightning bolt, dredge skeleton and flash, Red

for lightning bolt,

for dredge skeleton and

for flash i guess, which would make this a red blue black card whose mana cost would otherwise be

Archenemy deck anyway cause it is one of the coolest cards I've ever seen.

5 mana to kill a creature and get a drudge skeleton.
Volcanic Hammer + Drudge Skeleton +

for instant speed.

Overpricey; Compare to Lightning bolt, with this yoou get a {4} mana Drudge Skeletons, which is a bad deal.

Don't think of it as an overpriced incinerate with a free Drudge Skeletons. Think of it as a tiny overpriced regenerating Flametongue Kavu with flash in {BR}.

Or a red Mind Control.
