...but... so much flavour! He goes all blood frenzy, man!

This card is way cooler than any dopey Baneslayer Angel and you know it.

Might not be the most *effective* win condition, but you're definitely winning REAL LIFE if you use Giant Shark. I mean, he's like the champ. Look at him.

achilleselbow: As has been said, Prodigal Sorcerer. And to answer your question,(been playing since The Dark) tedious. Really freaking tedious. No idea how this game got off the ground, really, nor why I liked it in the first place. It only got worse with Fallen Empires. Monoblack ruled the day (discard) and white was laughable. Urza's block was overpowered to keep people playing, I think.

I am serious, this would be a great card for the core set.

In theory you could play Lure on it, then overload Electrickery to make it almost kind-of useful.

Magic used to be, you know, a casual game where players didn't just pick the latest net-deck so they could win tournaments, and cards like this don't have rulings because they ever saw tournament play where something like this came up, but because something came up in a casual game that was queried to Wizards staff years ago when someone might have actually played this in a casual deck.

Who'd have thought SHARKS would be so darn complicated they require the tiny 4-point font.
