Double Strike, eh? Sounds more like a Dualist to me.

I just put four of these and four Gorgon Flail in my new white deck. Double Strike/First Strike and deathtouch combo is always fun.

RuthieA is right, most decks are not prepared for this guy. I consistently have him swinging on turn 2 with a Bonesplitter as a 3/1 double strike, and most of the time it's before my opponent has a blocker if I went first. when this happens, turn 3 or 4 wins are likely.

Attention! Epic hand required!
1) Land + Quest for the Holy Relic
2) Land + Quest for the Holy Relic + 4x Ornithopter/Memnite + Kor Duelist. Search for 2x Argentum Armor and equip your kor.
3) Win :)

This card wins me games. In my Kor equipment deck, I once drew him, two plains, a Bone Saw, and a Trusty Machete. I dealt 22 damage in four turns. Yes, it's sort of combo-ey, but it's still 22 damage in four turns, and in my Kor deck I have four of both of the equipments and I would have four Kor Duelist, if only I had the fourth one. In a Kor equipment deck, or really any deck that runs enough equipment (which there's a lot of in Zendikar/Worldwake), he's practically a must. In most equipment decks, you will be hitting for at least four by turn two, when most decks just aren't, well, equipped to handle it.

Oh, and for those who play extended: Neurok Hoversail or, perhaps even better, Shuko.

@canonshooter: Equipped means he is equipped with equipment. Equipped. that means you play an equipment, then paid the cost to equip the creature with equipment. equipped.

Bonesaw, Explorer's Scope, both of which you're probably only running because of the Kor and their Equip affinity.
Mage Slayer would be good if it was in color, but it's not.

Right now the Kor is running sup par cards hoping the strong synergy will be enough to win the day, let's just hope in Worldwake there's a good blade.

According to Wizards, this isn't a creature. Could have fooled me.

Trusty Machete is pretty devastating with this guy, for certain. With a little mana ramp, that can be a turn 2 swing for 6. Yikes.

Very flexible card, made all the more dangerous by the fact that it is both A) really cheap to cast and B) a Soldier.

At least a 4/5
