Probably the best art would have been an homage to the original (which was pretty sweet especially for its time). Same-ish looking dragon, same perspective, but make it really really kickasz.

But good art wins over nice text usually. At least in my opinion.
I'd take this FTV Shivan Dragon over any other, any day.
I HATE the M10 art of it. His legs make him look really weak. And the yellow hue is the color of cat barf. Doesn't really scream KING OF THE SKIES, y'know?
