wow. :)
there are already a bunch of uncommon lands able to produce any color of mana without sacrificing it.
but this is the first one not requiring additional mana or time, therefore i would have expected to see this effect on a rare one.
dependant on deck it might be even better than Thran Quarry.
btw, i wonder when wizards decides to release the first mythic rare land. >;)

I, too, am surprised Ancient Ziggurat was made uncommon and not rare. The Conflux set, with its multiple WUBRG creatures, certainly benefits from a land like this one. I would say that Ancient Ziggurat is better than Thran Quarry, since it can be played on turn one and you don't fear losing it to creature destruction. Just about any 3 (or more) color deck should be running a playset of the Ziggurat, unless creatures aren't part of your game plan.

Good card with nice effect for creature heavy builds, five color decks will fall in love with this one. consider this card with just about any build and if you have a three plus color (like the block it came it), then it should be a good addition to your deck.

I will be sad though when I will be one mana shy of playing my game winning non-creature spell...

I run 3 of this in the maindeck of my red/green haste. Since like 4/5ths of the deck's spells are creatures, this is a great land to use. A lot of people find it odd to play this in a 2-color, but I've yet to be let down by this guy when I need him.

This land is just brilliant for any multicolor decks. I wouldn't doubt for a second adding four of them if the current build of my deck was more creature central. Also don't forget that Alara Reborn is PURE multicolor, which will just add even more value to this brilliant card. The art itself is excellent too. Giving this anything but a 5/5 would be madness (inb4 SPARTA!!!!!!!).

Wizards probably isn't too eager to make a mythic land. Land's aren't really all that flashy; new players usually underestimate their power anyway, and they usually don't have powerful abilities other than 'tap to add mana'. They'll probably reserve Mythic Rare mostly for powerful legends and expensive creatures.
