Expensive, but I like the idea of combining Mind Control with a green effect, so it would be cool if they tried something like this again.

Mind Control is a normal Blue control... Costs 5 CMC
This is +2/+2 and Trample, meaning you can steal the biggest creature there can be on the field.
And with the Mana Ramp ability I see in BlueGreen, this card could easil be played just as fast as Mind Control.

now remember that they haven't reprinted control magic for quite some time

we can compare this to the much newer spirit away

and I think that it is a fairly priced card

Steals their biggest critter and turns it into an even bigger beatstick. Expensive, but U/G has never had mana problems.

This card is my control in a deck I formed around Psychic Battle, which is why I don't really care about the CMC. But in blue green, there's some crazy acceleration, and with the right control setup, it can be useful.

Another strategy is with Arcanum Wings, which can really unnerve your opponents went you cast it on their creatures.

Fun casual card, and it's possible to make decent U/G decks revolving around auras. But the artwork doesn't fit the flavour at all for me.
