While I agree that the card is bad, it doesn't have "evasion" as in the colloquial use of the term. Usually, that term is means that a creature evades blockers (with flying, trample, ect.) rather than it evades removal.

I have found its a very fun for blocking everything but trample. Currently in my merfolk mill deck for defense and a bit of bonus with kraken eye and drowner. There are a few times I do get coral atoll + merrow reejerey x2 and it gets crazy. Granted its rare but for those few times I had those with a drowner or kraken eye infinite mill/life.

Annoying infinite blocker. Can also interact with any number of, "when a creature enters the battlefield" triggers.
