ignoring the countering part, play this in response to their declare attackers phase, plop down a baneslayer or baloths or something and block with it. If you drop an ob nixilis you could even also pop your fetch lands to pump him up and then block. All before the opponent know what happened

deffinatly a nice card, we will see how many people are playing counter spells, but paying 6 for a progenitus, or Iona, or darksteel, or anything else that goes thud when it hits, and you can do it on their turn, and swing on yours

Why play Root sliver in sliver deck, when you can put lets say... Sliver legion instead of Muscle Sliver?

Hardcasted this thing is okay, not amazing but not horrible either. Allot of people like to splash blue and throw some counters in so its not a crazy idea to maindeck a pair of these into your green decks.
The real cool part about this card, any deck that has 20+ creatures you could put x4 of these in the sideboard. When u face a counter heavy deck, slap em in.

This is a pretty good response to those pesky counterspell decks. "Um, yeah, since you countered that creature, I play this for nothing." Get Progenitus or Darksteel Colossus out with this thing and watch your opponents cry.
