Well... Bar stuff like Prototype Portal, there's always Pull From Eternity if you splash white.

I use this card in my mono red deck because lightning bolts only kill creatures with toughness 3 or less...so brittle effigy is a way for red to kill bigger creatures! I LIKE IT!

super useful card. yeah it's pricey to do the actual exiling but there is no drawback. and it's casting cost of 1 allows you to find it with trinket mage.
I use this not only in artifact decks but mono blue or green which lacks a variety of good removal.

i like this. alot. i sideboard it in my UW deck to pull out with the trinket mage to deal with this ooonnneee mutherphucker with protection from colors with metalcraft......

@NeedADispenserHere: That is literally the reason I have this guy in a few of my decks. The moment I see those Eldrazi Spawn coming I start searching my library for this guy if I can.

Sort of like a quicker Amulet of Unmaking with the casting cost fixed, but more focused. A bit specific I suppose, but when you need it MAN do you need it.

Costly, but useful. Colorless spot removal gives a lot more options to a lot of decks that never could have considered it before.

@Donovan_Fabian: having Brittle Effigy being sacrificed instead of exiled as part of its activation cost would definitely be of some use with Sun Titan... not necessarily overpowered, but still pretty powerful.
Still, exiling or not, being able to find this with Trinket Mage (Redhaiku) could prove to be very useful.
