It's not bad... You can sacrifice your creatures to draw a card in response to one fading away, dying while attacking, dying while blocking, getting bounced, getting destroyed or just becoming irrelevant. It isn't mana intensive to the point that many mid-to-large creature-based decks couldn't greatly benefit from it when playing against removal.

I think it's a usable drawing engine, particularly if it has a deck to fit it. The art has also stuck with me, surprisingly.

Guys, this isn't a draw engine. This is a sac engine that happens to have you draw cards. Perhaps a bit outdated, but still very good. Convert dead or dying creatures into goodies? Yes please!

Agreed. I'd play this in some sort of multi-colored deck with creatures that sacrifice themselves as a drawback, like Spark Elemental . The worst thing about those decks can be card advantage, and with a little planning, this brings you right back.
