i like this card, low cost to keep creatures from attacking you especially the really big ones

I think it's underrated. You're going to have spare blue mana in the sort of deck that could use this. And it will reliably stop any given fatty or problem creature. Effective and hard to get rid of.

Extremely useful against a red deck, as there aren't many flyers. And putting it in for only 1 mana?? Fanatastic. It doesn't cost much to use the tap ability, either.

Very solid card in a color that wants the effect the most. Run with that draw spell that draws you cards for each tapped creature. EOT tap your opponents board and fill up on your turn. Sounds good to me ^^.

I used to have two of these in a blue control deck along with a bunch of Man-o'-war. Most of the time it kept other players from attacking or blocking with their best creatures.

Great, often overlooked card when it comes to blue control that doesn't involve countering/bouncing everything in sight. Works really well in decks heavy on flying creatures.
