This can really carry the whole game for you. over a knight of meadowgrain it's terrific, cause this doesn't give lifelink, so you win double life. plus the 4/4 first strike trampler attacking on turn 3. IT ROCKS HARD

and for all the "competitive" saying it's very weak against removal, I'll quote the good old flavor text:

"Don't laugh. It works."

My personal favorite Aura card, and yeah Rancor is number 2 but I love lifelink abilities. I remember throwing this on a Rith at the Invasion prerelease, man I was happy that day!

This card works really well with the Eldrazi cards. Nothing like whipping out an 8/8 for 8 and then slapping this on it. Trample, life gain, and annihilator! awesome combination.

@fhemo: Do you gain life for the damage that gets through to the defending player by trample? or all the damage the creature deals even if blocked?

Yes and yes, you would gain life in both cases. Trample damage is still dealt by the enchanted creature, not the ability itself, meaning that you would gain life from any damage that "tramples on" to your opponent, and if the enchanted creature is blocked by something that has enough toughness to survive combat, you would still gain life equal to the enchanted creature's power (unless part of or all of the damage was prevented).
In addition, should your creature become blocked with no creature to block it (i.e. Curtain of Light), or the blocker somehow leaves combat (i.e. Unsummon or similar), all of the damage would just "trample on" to your opponent, dealing full damage to them and gaining you the full amount of life. (Note however that damage only continues "tramples on" to your opponent ... (see all)

A very powerful enchantment. Every G/W deck that deals in auras should think of this as their flagship (well, this and Shield of the Oversoul.)

Surprisingly effective in multiplayer. If there are 3 players, and you put this on your opponents 8/8 beater, he's probably not going to be attacking you 'cause it wouldn't do anything.

@PlanesMoyza, richardshort: It's getting a Ravnica reprint. Well, almost a reprint. The not-quite-lifelink ability has been replaced with lifelink, but aside from that Unflinching Courage is a functional reprint.
