The card references Syphon Soul; this spellshaper turns any card in your hand into one! Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth, is a desolate swampland and center of black mana on Dominaria.

A good card in the mid to late game when you might have some extra mana or useless cards in hand. If you're playing black, you probably have need of some extra life, anyway, and in multiplayer, this is an easy 6-8 life gain.
