Still, you have to compare to Barrage Ogre, from a set/block that is also currently being drafted. Looking at that guy, I'd have to say this guy seems fairly solid, thanks to his lower cost.

It's a plausible archetype to grab as many of them as you can in a draft and pick up every crappy one drop artifact you can find. You would run out of gas quick though so I'd recommend being mono red and getting as many urza's lands as you can so you can finish with ebony rhinos or a colossus of sardia if you can.

But he's uncommon. You'll only find one or two in the draft. I wouldn't risk it.
