I find it funny that they made this card for bloodthrist in the same set as Tormented Soul

Really? They want Bloodthirst to work THAT bad?

@ blindloyalty. Not really. This card activates bloodthirst (M12's cameo mechanic). Bump in the Night does not activate bloodthirst.

I wish that they had found a way to reference Touch of Death. Other than the preposition, which would be a pretty lame way to make a reference. Man, I loved that card.

Specifically for bloodthrist.
This is exactly what that kind of deck would need.

A must-have in your 'blood' keyword theme deck.

This card is a slap to the face. (pun intended)
But seriously, I would have liked this to be instant. Putting this on Isochron Scepter would have been funny.

...
well, the art's really nice. And who doesn't love Dracula?
But yeah. I don't know if I'd run it outside of limited.

honestly, with the black vampire blood lust deck?
Instead of spending like 5 mana on black mana to deal 5 damage to someone, you could spend 1 mana and use that extra 4 mana to use it with Bloodlust creatures...
Seeing as 4 mana could give monsters with Bloodlust maybe a +6 in total depending on the thing...
So really depends on how you want to play... 5 mana for 5 damage and 5 health
or 5 mana for 1 damage, 1 health and bloodlust creatures that gain +3 or +4 depending on the field set up.
