If you're running just blue and black this is decent, but yeah TDL's right, it's just not the same without indestructibility

not many occasions where dimir signet wouldn't serve you better in a u/b deck.

If your only running those two colors, this is equal to manalith, baring unique situations where you would need other colors because of something an opponent does.

Also you could run alongside manalith.
