Ah, Child of Night. I love you, my dear. Ever since I began in M10, you've been here for me. An early drop source of damage and life, you've been essential to my decks as they've evolved with Zendikar vampires, the M10 drop, and now as M12 introduces new allies, you stay just the same, and ever useful.

Happy anniversary, and here's to many more years of Vampirism.

Thank you for not being Goblin Piker or Coral Merfolk. Those guys are just lame.

Glad to have her in 2012.

Okay, but there are better. I can definitely get why people like playing her, though.

I never needed you before, but due to slim pickings, oh what am I saying? Yes, you are the woman of my dreams, but no, you will still never be in my vamp deck. What's that? Sanguimancer? I swear to you, she's just a friend. You know that you're the only girl for me.

Cheap lifelink that can handle early drops is always welcome, in my book. Especially when it's a part of what's becoming an increasingly relevant tribe.

For me, this card represents the curve for Vampires. This is the baseline card I judge other vampires by because it's the iconic Magic Vampire in my book. Not exactly sturdy, but with a good ability and easily playable cost. And now with all the Innistrad Vampire Tribal stuff, she becomes downright threatening if you don't watch out.

Much Homage Child of Night! I would enjoy a foil playset of these!

Still running a full playset in my mono black life-gain deck, she's sooo good! People WILL use their removal on these girls... =P 4.5/5 since M10!!!

This card used to ruin me constantly. People never wanted to really trade a creature for it and it was only after a few games I realised I really should block it and trade early on, as I did not want Vamp boy rolling in MORE life than he was already getting...

I really hate this card. Not even in a "I hate this card being used against me" way.
I just think it's really bad.
