Wait, this forced attack thing has even appeared on an equipment?

As of now, there have been 39 "attack(s) each turn if able" permanents so far; they have been sporadically popping up for years now. Include "attack(s) this turn if able" effects and you get 20 more.
That makes almost a dozen more cards than there are with double strike (48).

I think they really need to come up with a keyword for that. (Something around the lines of "bellicosity" maybe.)

Then it could be like the keyword cousin of defender:
Generally a drawback, but when turned into a feature that other cards can refer to (like Perimeter Captain, Overgrown Battlement or Vent Sentinel), also comes with remarkable upsides.
This would also make a nice sub-theme for red or artifact (maybe even green) creatures in a future set.

If the costs were switched (3 to cast, 2 to equip) I might consider running this in certain aggressive decks.

this is great in limited though, considering the number of evasive creatures.

In Limited, this thing has won me more FNMs than Wolfir Avenger and Wingcrafter combined. Love it.

Why is this rated so low? Put it on Wandering Wolf and it should be unblockable most of the time in limited. You can even give it hexproof with Elguad Shieldmate. Heck, just putting it on a creature with any kind of evasion can be extremely useful. A lot of the time I'm just going to swing in with Scrapskin Drake anyway...

Pray tell, DarthParallax, how will you get this to equip your opponent's Kaalia?

Anyway, this really sucks compared to something like Vulshok Battlegear, which is just {1} more to cast, same to equip, and gives +3/+3 with no downside.

Still, drew it twice in the pre-release, and played it both times. It does well on Angelic Wall, where it has no upside and allows your wall to actually kill quite a lot of fliers. Works really well on Howlgeist, usually gives you a seven-power unblockable!

i think..maybe...this could actually be an anti-Kaalia tech card- force them to attack with her in situations they'd like to be able to stop attacking, like when you've got a huge dude waiting to ***-slap her?

@Mode I think considering defender strictly a downside when it's on its own is harsh. It allows me to get out a larger sized or otherwise more valuable creature to protect myself with (like Angelic Wall, no one's getting through me for a couple turns after dropping that on turn two.

I think "Bloodlust" would be a good keyword for this ability.
