Well seems that I'm on the minority here but still I like the flavour-art in this one. Is another homenage to the Exorcist (like Cloistered Youth/ Unholy Fiend but more explicit) In the first picture you only see the spirit stalking the girl, thats ok, but then we see her WALKING ON THE WALL, with all her LIMBS TWISTED and her neck TURNED AROUND 180º (like the movie). Honestly if I could ever see something like that I would just shit my pants, much more scary than many others transform cards art. I enjoyed it since the very first time I saw it in my booster pack.

Well... it could posses the creature it strikes, but then no one would block it...
And yeah, the light source seems a bit weird.
Otherwise it a nice card. I'd play it with Artful Dodge :)

I agree with Maese_Leo. The art is very cool and the flavor text is creepy and fitting. Sadly the card isn't all that good. Lowering the costs by 1 would have made it a fair and far from overpowered uncommon.

I agree that the art is awful, the woman on the first side is just so plain. On this side it's even worse- it took me forever to actually see the leering 'spirit skull'. All it ever looked like to me was the profile of an old man wearing sunglasses, with a mustache and a HUGE chin. Then I finally saw the skull like a month ago, and it made a little more sense. Anticlimactic, and awful.

I don't like the art on this card. On the other side, something about the woman puts me off. But on this one, I can't stand how bright it is. All the candles just went out. So why does it look like they're adjacent an open window? Especially considering how dark the act that's taking place is, the card would have had a FAR better feel if it were darker, illuminated only by the glow of the ghost.
Instead it looks like shit. Both sides do. Bluh.

Interesting that this card has become the poster child of "bad art" in modern Magic -- made me reflect on the fact that 95%+ of cards nowadays have pretty-good-to-OMG-amazing art, which is kind of incredible.
