{sweatdrop} I think you just brought up the reason they may have pulled this in over Akroma Mk. I (besides taking care not to get singles-selling stores incensed at them, like what happened when they reprinted so many high-value rares at once in 4th and Chronicles): More amenable to Commander politics and intricacy, rather than just being an immense frigate (although I'm not sure how political Kaalia's Dega deck is supposed to be...). I doubt preconstructeds were ever meant to just be a way to get expensive-secondhand cards on the relative cheap, in any case (they weren't expecting Umezawa's Jitte to be so devastating, to answer the obvious counterpoint); more like a way to dive into trying out the various precepts of new sets and formats without having to plan out a lot beforehand.

Besides, it'd be a little boring if there were nothing but cards that averaged 4.75 or better on here. Some place for the arcane and unknown is always good.

I agree with you Vividice, they shouldn't have put in so many worthless cards already in the new frame, especially when they could have used those slots for meaningful and still fitting reprints to either save people money or just put things in the new frame. Oh well~
That being said, for actual EDH games, this card is actually really fun. My friend's 'janky' EDH deck plays her and whenever she comes out it actually makes the game more interesting, as the people without great bord position get to catch-up, as the people who can be attacking would usually rather do that then play more spells, whereas the people without board position will just play spells to get it back.

Why no Akroma, Angel of Wrath T,T
Would have been so much better than this 20 Cent M11 Card...

And then Avacyn, Angel of Hope was revealed, and suddenly you all shut up.
Possibly better, (strictly in the context of Kaalia), than Linvala. Run both, with Avacyn, and watch your opponents cry.

This seems great in a Basandra, Battle Seraph deck.

Its a great card. Its switcharoo ability makes it so that your opponent can do basicilly nothing. Artwork is fantastic

You want to stop a game, non-Blazing Archon style?

I present to all of you, Arboria.

I run her with Isperia the Inscrutable as my commander. She doesn't do anything over-the-top, but fits very well into a softcore stax deck relying on a squadron of fliers.
My only objection is over the art. Not that it's ugly, but it doesn't fit well in the card frame and the palette is kind of boring. Currently working on a modification.

The only reason I love this angel is because it has the most ridiculous-sounding German title on earth... tremble, ye mortals, before the Himmlischer Schlichter!
