Couldn't think of anywhere where I'd want to play it, but it is helpful in the Ajani deck

Have to love non-basic forest. There are so many cards that let you search for any forest...
I run it in my big-green decks, it does slow me down from time to time, but on the turns where i have a couple of mana left over, it's nice to get the little booster shots.

Definitely going to get a Boost with the new Werewolf type monsters. That Green can be used to gain one life instead of cast a spell, and that would put you down 2 mana. And then that turn, you can flip over a Werewolf monster you played ;D

Benefits: Great when you can't use your mana for whatever reason, it's a small effect, but it's better then letting your Mana go stale, right?

Weakness: It comes into play tapped, meaning no turn 1 summons, and useless during the turn you play it. Not that good if you want to run with a fast paste deck.

Rating: 3/5 - It's not bad, but it isn't great either.

I actually run this in a Treefolk deck with Dungrove Elder and friends. it's actually quite useful, since I can sink my extra mana into some lifegain. it adds up to a lot over the course of a long game.

This is a strong card in monogreen.

1. It's a Forest, which can be important (Arbor Elf, Ranger's Path, Beacon of Creation, Blanchwood Armor, Howl of the Night Pack, Reach of Branches, etc.)
2. Free life is never bad, and there's no reason not to use extra mana when you can.

Sure it comes in tapped, but green manaramp is easy and common, so really, do you need this on round one for a drop?

Several effects read "Whenever you gain life". This is one of the best enablers for such.

Very useful along with Ajani's Pridemate or Archangel of Thune, for example. Both of which trigger their abilities per life gain event, and don't care how much life was gained. Even one life from sapseep gives all your creatures +1/+1 permanent tokens with a Thune out. And since she is a major kill target, you need all the immediate lifegain events you can get on the stack until that removal spell resolves.

Example:
1) I cast Thune. My opponent doesn't have a cancel spell, so she resolves.
2) My opponent does have a doomblade though, and throws it at her immediately.
3) I tap my sapseed forest in response, and it goes on top of doom blade in the stack.
4) Sapseep resolves, Thune's ability then triggers and goes on top of the stack.
5) Thune's ability resolves, all my creatures get their tokens.
6) Then she dies.

Sapseed here would make the difference between, for instance, my massive token army all being permanently twice as powerful, or not.
