Dude, this is so much better than Scorch the Fields, its not even funny. Its one less damage than lava axe at instant speed but it hits every single one of their creatures too...

Believe it or not, this was probably my saving grace in the launch day draft. Every time I was in a pinch and was a turn away from death, I top decked this and turn the tides, either by killing my opponent with the 4 damage or I wiped their field of 1 toughness creatures. Made me glad I picked two of them.

@Hivis_of_the_scale go with this. Scorch the fields destroys a land and only does damage to humans. Use this and also Inflame however, you've got yourself a highly applicable combo.

This came in handy so often in my latest draft deck. The 1 damage to all creatures is the perfect counter to Krenko, Mob Boss.

Now that's just being a deceitful ***. In other words, a black thing. I had imagined Chandra to be many things, such as a pyromaniac (a given), rebel without a cause and generally being impulsive, reckless and irresponsible, but I had not imagined her to be a freaking ***.

Uhg, too bad it's only 1 damage. I like ZEvilMustache's idea of making it {3RR} but upping the damage to creatures. As it is, if you can double it with Chandra, the Firebrand, it's a slam dunk. One-sided Pyroclasm and knocking off 40% of their health is enormous, but I just can't see it as anything other than {4R} "Deal 4 damage to target player" most of the time. And that's not particularly good, just in case you were wondering. :p
