@SlackWareWolf. . . Good idea's,you actually made me think of something else too! After a few turns, just bounce it with Capsize, Boomerang, Roil Tide, or Echoing Truth to bounce it back to your hand. Then just start over again!

1 drop enchantress fodder that crushes with Eon Hub. Part control, part draw engine, and highly underrated. Best of all, the 4 cost never gets paid. 5/5

This should easily be a 4.5 or 5. In Type1 and other formats, and even in Table Top Magic, most people play a lot of spells, and try to get their hands out quick, and not all are going to be creatures. Pop a few in your deck, lay one out, draw up stuff unless your opponent is willing to actually spend that much to stop it, and then after 3 turns or so when the cost to keep it is to high play a new one.

Yeah, it might end up being better than Ancestral Recall in some games.

But why is a fish an "enchantment," anyway? And is its shadow backwards down there?

agree with blindthrall. i play lots of older cards, and occasionally use this when i sideboard out the counterspells from my merfolk deck for friendly play. it looks worthwhile in writing, but eats that precious blue mana faster than you'd like sometimes. as to putting several in a deck, maybe that works better, but there are plenty of other blue cantrips i'd rather have on hand.

Um, my experiences with playing this card are completely different. It's just too easy to play around, your opponent just empties their hand of creatures quickly, which is bad news for blue usually. I've never drawn more than 2 cards from one. True it slows your opponent down, but it also slows you down. I surprised it's rated as high as it is. It may look nice in a vacuum, but in practice it's never more than an annoyance. 1.5

This and Raiding Party were the first two cards that I mistook as a creature when ever I browsed my cards.
