A card that will provoke a smirk from those who succeed in playing it and howls of anguish from everyone else. This may be true for a great many cards, but the dual detain after every attack does almost make up for the high price.

At first it may look like a weaker version of Frost Titan, but detaining is much more powerful than tapping. Detain locks abilities which don't require their source to tap, and you can't get rid of detain, while you can untap your pernaments with various means. This is powerful guy for it's guild. Don't forget what's all guild about... I love Azorius! :)

@majinara : You make valid points. However, I feel that comparing this card to a titan is unfair. Not only are those titans mythic creatures, but they were part of the very strong mythic categories that just pushes powercreep to the limit. If we look at this card pre/post titan-level-mythics era, it's actually quite worth it for it's cost.
Although I tend to agree that it costing 7 is too much, the detain ability is new and seems quite strong, so if this card would've only costed 6, maybe it would've been a problem. It's quite hard to tell.
