This is one of the most wonderful cards of the entire set. It isn't for those who block, but is an amazing aggressive beater. I run four in my red blue aggro deck and they make amazing attackers.

Easily one of my favorite cards of the set.

By far the most underrated common in the set. How is this slipping under the radar? Because of the double blue, no doubt...but 2 power in the air for 3 is no joke, and the undying thing makes it phenomenal. 3 power in the air for 3 is amazing (talking about limited here of course), especially when it's a reward for your opponent dumping a removal card on it or trading a creature for it. Can't block? Nobody blocks.

Compare this to Cloud Elemental which is very close except it has an easier casting cost for decks that want to splash another color. While being resistant to removal and winning beatdown fights in the air is nice, mono blue doesn't really support this (except for maybe aggro-illusions).

It's cool flavor-wise, but it doesn't play well with others very well (what would you expect from a ghost that prefers to haunt rainclouds than other people?)

I can't imagine many situations in constructed where this doesn't show up with its buddy Drogskol Captain. Which makes this card terrifying.

"Stormbound Ghost, Geralf's Mindcrusher is upon me! Block it!"
"Nope. I ain't coming down from here for NOTHING."

You lazy, unfaithful swine of a geist.

Something about the entire Geist tribe in Dark Ascension really makes me want to slam a Great Sable Stag down and scream 'EXPECTO PATRONUM!'

If ONLY the Stag had reach! :p

It's a great creature, but its name is too similar to Sturmgeist's.

This could create some real problems in a Venser control deck.

A plain 2/2 Undying would be a pretty good deal for this CC in Blue-
adding flying pushes this into *extremely* usable territory.

Despite the blocking clause, I've still found these *very* useful defensively-
Not only can it eat Spirit Tokens all day long, it can also block huge flyers not once, but twice.
And of course, it makes for a great attacker.
Def. one of the best Blue creatures in the set, and one of the better Undying creatures in general.
5/5- great Common- compare to Uncommon Vengeful Vampire.
It's nice to see Blue getting aggressively costed creatures.

Excellent card with good power, undying, AND flying?! I run 3 in my U/R Delver deck and it does great! The only other card that comes close is Latch Seeker but the undying really swayed me towards Stormbound Geist for sure.
