Huh...how interesting. It can counter LD or Wild Growth type cards...and it cantrips, so...seems useful enough to me...

Seems useful in a deck utilizing animate land type cards, like your opponent may answer you activating Jolrael, Empress of Beasts with Damnation type effects... Nets you some land protection just in case on the cheap and a card draw... I likey.

Too bad damnation doesnt target. This wouldn't stop it.
