You don't typically think of apes as cold climate creatures. But this ape's prefered habitat is the snowy Taiga. And then there were all those gorillas in Ice Age.

It's a classic creature that was strong when it was printed and remains strong today. It's not *broken*... but it is just really solid!

Also, points for the old artwork - the newer versions in From the Vault: Exiled and 9th Edition are more dynamic, but not as threatening. This one shows all the threat in his eyes... he is about to go ape-shit on you. It's an interesting connection between him and The Fallen. Red pinpricks of light are just damned scary eyes!
