More deterrent than actual bouncing, but I think that's supposed to be the point.

Interesting effect against Venser, though I could imagine he could use it to his advantage in lieu of an actual bounce spell.

@misterfolgers
Yes, It does have a distinctly blue flavor, and this is on purpose. It was first released in planar chaos, when all the colors were mixed up.

@ DarthParallax
It's Venser v Koth, but I have no clue how its supposed to represent that...

Ever since this card was released in Planar Chaos I feel like it has set the bar for how creative and fun red cards can be. Give us more!

Anyone know what that set symbol is supposed to be? Reminds me of Jace v Chandra and Elspeth v Tezzeret- Except it only made sense for Jace and Chandra...

Is it just me? or does this have a really blue flavor about it. The whole Æther thing.. the unsummoning creatures.. I didn't think red was too big on that.

Rating: 5/5, as far as Walls go.

One of my favorite Walls.

Not only does it deter your opponent from attacking with expensive creatures with a power less than or equal to 5, but it pretty much deters your opponent from attacking with an enchanted creatures unless:
a) they have creature removal
b) they absolutely need to get rid of it.

I think it's always an advantage when your opponent has to waste resources on getting rid of a wall, and of course, when that wall is drawing resources that normally would've been used on your other creatures.

MisterFolgers is very right, this is a card with a strong blue flavor to it. Probably why it was released in Planar Chaos.
