blue and black deck = epic
combine with any card you want to sac and have hit the graveyard

@mode it's expensive because its an effect blue doesn't normally have.

@achilleselbow all that shit happens at the same time and ability's can be activated from the graveyard if they say they can, the wording may be a little iffy but I think we all know what the card does to the point that there would be no controversy over it, and if it becomes too big a deal Wizards of the Coast will prolly just change the oracle text.

@weretarrasque lurk moar.

In a mono blue deck, it is more useful than False Demise. But if you don't want to always hold back mana, you should use the more expensive Fool's Demise.

@ supershawn: My guess is that it's expensive because it's an older card, and they had no idea what they were doing back then. Having an enchantment that kept a creature perpetually coming back from the dead seems like a really powerful effect if you don't think too much about the tempo lost in using this card. It seems more likely to me that they just over-valued the ability, considering that Legends was filled with all kinds of violations of the color pie as we know it today.

Interesting effect and pretty much off-color, this would normally be a black or green card instead. If mana and trigger cost was reduced by Blue each this could find some use i think. But like that it's too expensive regrettably.

Near-useless. Nearly. You could still use it.

Technically what the card says shouldn't be possible. The first ability triggers when the creature is put into the graveyard. That means the enchantment must also be put into the graveyard at the same time, in which case it's no longer enchanting any creature and you can't activate its second ability. At least that's my understanding.
