I like how the Oracle text removes all the exclamation points from the flavor text, making Craw Giant sound like a preteen trolling the Internet.

Funny thing how small people hate words in different languages. In english dwarf is the proper word for them when midget is wrong, but if you translate those words to finnish, then it's vice verse.

Now, now, Craw Giant, the proper term is "dwarves".
He's really expensive and green-intensive for a pretty low-toughness guy with trampling rampage, which may seem cool, but it's not.

Trample and Rampage:2 are a good combo. Slap on a Lure, make sure your opponent has plenty of 1/1s, maybe play a green creature-pump, smash through all defences.

Trample + rampage +Lure is a good combo.
But SEVEN MANA is just too much...

For one more mana and some heavier weight than Yavimaya Wurm, you get Rampage 2.
This makes him a much more valuable target for Lure effects. I like him. He's not great, but in mono-green, you don't care about the weight, and Yavimaya Wurm is definitely playable for casual.

Back in the day, this guy was cool and was one of very few playable creatures from Legends... and also one of few cards from that set that was both considered cool and not absurdly expensive (Moat, Mana Drain, etc.)

Why is this card rated so low? Sure it's not the best card today, but back in 95' this was a great card. And if it where made cheaper to cast or made so it couldn't be blocked by less than 3 creatures would still be very playable. I think they should bring Rampage back, but use it sensibly this time.

Green fatties used to be terrible. This guy was the best green super-fatty (larger than a 5/5) for a few years, sad to say.
