I always dreamed that they would reprint this with its properly elegant, cleaned-up templating. Well, it turns out that they did!
(Gatherer should really show these:)

I really like the idea of being able to move an enchantment around like this. I've had a lot of experience shoving them around with Kitsune Mystic, but this is the first enchantment I've seen that can enchant multiple creatures on its own without leaving the battlefield.

Dragon Scales is wonderful for reanimator decks, and as such, doesn't actually require mana to cast. The Dragon Auras from Scourge, particularly Dragon Breath, tend to show up in Legacy Cephalid Breakfast. Since Breakfast decks routinely mill their entire library turn 2, flipping over 3 Narcomoeba to sacrifice to the flashback cost of Dread Return on a huge guy, who then gains free haste from Breath, people generally prefer the Dragon cycle.

However, this aura stems from a time early on in MTG's development. This is one of the first auras to feature an ability that mitigates the disadvantage of casting aura spells; you were able to move this to another of your creatures (or, if you're a clever player, you could move it to one of their creatures temporarily and then play another one of your own guys and move it onto him to avoid losing the aura completely). As such, this card represents an import... (see all)
