@EEAGLESFFL20
As with all similar */* creatures, this is a static ability that constantly checks graveyards. If more creatures enter the graveyard (whether through death or discard), it gets stronger. Likewise, if something gets pulled out of a graveyard, it will get weaker. You can even kill one of these if you manage to eliminate all creatures from all graveyards (Tormod's Crypt if there's none in your 'yard, or something similar).

Don't care 'bout your first comment!

But anyway, this is basically a second Jarad in this deck, minus the sac a creature and the sacing forest+swamp to return it to your hand.
Although it's missing a lot of abilites, that's accounted for in its easy-to-pay CMC.

Okay so it says the amount of P/T is equal to the amount of creatures in your graveyard. Does that mean that it will keep increasing as creatures die while he's on the battlefield or is it a set number and the amount of creatures in the graveyard at the time he was summoned is his P/T?

Mode's comment on Elephant Resurgence captures the two cards' relationship perfectly.

Also, this is basically half a Lhurgoyf. The better half, I dare say.
