+Nonbasic land destruction on a stick.
+2 toughness for two mana, not bad. Can block most first turn drops if necessary.

+Only costs 2cmc. Printed today, he'd cost 4-5, depending on whether or not they left his P/T or dropped it to 1/1. And it would be a highly unplayable, filler, not even good in limited, jank card.

Wait wait wait, how is this not at least a 4? Does ANYONE play without nonbasics? Look at the rating for Wasteland. I mean I realize he can be removed before he gets to use his ability, but it's not like 2 mana is a huge investment.
