This card is awesome. I will be building a deck around this, Braids, Conjurer Adept and Eternal Dominion so i will be the only one gaining the benefits from Braids and lets me control the game a little more.

No, it doesn't work the same way as a blue unmake, because the thing will phase in again at the next upkeep. This is just a combat trick (one that was weakened after damage could no longer go on the stack).

They are not. I think maybe at one point they might have been...?

In any case, since Vanishing phases out at the same time the enchanted creature does, it's hard to get rid either thing for good.

Phasing does do many useful things, such as repeatable/reusable evasion and avoidance of M a s s wipe.This is one of the cards I often time tutor out with my Zur EDH. Having 4U open makes him/this almost unkillable.

perhaps the most annoying enchantment to go on Zur the enchanter.

This ruins a general- the general doesn't die/get exiled, so it doesn't get a chance to go into the command zone. A must-have for every blue EDH deck.

Great card. Low casting cost, low effect cost. Works well on either your creatures (save your critters when they're targeted) or an opponent's (remove their creatures when they pose a risk). Good for combat situations too: even though you can't phase the creature out in response to normal damage anymore, you can still phase it out before damage step entirely, allowing you to block without risk of losing your creature (i.e. the Dream Fighter effect).

I used to use this a lot back in the day. Saved my tukhus on more than one occasion.

@mode

Actually, phasing doesnt trigger "enter/leave the battlefield" trigger because the creature never leaves the battlefield when it phases out. if it did, this card wouldnt work at all, as the enchantment would slide off, thus defeating the purpose. Phasing really doesnt do much useful. At all.

Can be used with Thalakos Seer for some cheap card draw since afaik "leaves the battlefield"-triggers are activated by permanents phasing out.

This is going straight into my mono blue commander deck. Enchant their commander or other big thing. Just do they don't attack me.
