I like how this gets reprinted right after the Reconstructed article featuring this and Blistercoil Weird. It is sort of like saying "Hey, sorry our website gets so much traffic that it can drive up card prices by itself. Have some reprints!"

Regardless of what you do with it, it's always a free equipment that can help ramp mana and fixes it in a pinch.
In a set where they reprint lots of Affinity stuff, I wouldn't say this is a dead draw in limited either.
