It's a good thing this is uncommon now, even though Go For The Throat is better and more worthy of its rarity. Limited feels much better now.

I imagine Wizards doesn't want top-tier removal like this at common for the sake of limited. Most common removal, even for black, requires some amount of hoop-jumping in the form of being overcosted or requiring a second cost to be paid. Whatever the case, black got a big leg up with the return of Doomy here, especially with Naya blitz decks being so prevalent.
