Definately the best of the 3-cost two 1/1's. Slivers are THE tribal deck.

Am I the only one thinking that this card's art is upside down? Just compare it to its promo version.

By making multiple creatures, this card benefits from other slivers twice as much and could easily be the go to 3 cmc card in an aggressive sliver deck (of doom).

Being able to make as many Sliver creatures as possible is very important in a Sliver deck, even if a couple of them don't give abilities to the others.

3.5/5

@Ezuna I see slivers hatching out of eggs that have been attached to the ceiling by a sliver queen.

Colorless Sliver token:
http://browse.deviantart.com/art/Token-385386192

The card is a very interesting flashback to Join the Ranks. I think everyone can agree that Allies were very similar to slivers (except they used triggered instead of passive abilities), and this card crosses that bridge. Comparatively, I don't think the sorcery speed diminishes the power, due to being 1 less. This will give any hive two more slivers that can either be beastly themselves or completely expendable to use the abilities you wanted to hold on to. I would have liked to see this be a tribal spell, but - as this is a core set - I can understand why this was impossible. Great card.

The art is very impressive, and does a good job of bridging the gap in terms of the question, "Where's the missing sliver link?" The slivery heads and mantis-like arms gives the feel of the old slivers we once knew while staying close to the ones we now see. I'm loving the silhouette effect Maciej Kuciar... (see all)

Yeah, really no reason at all to use Steelform Sliver with this around. This right here is your 3-CMC card of choice in Sliver decks...and many others with so many 1/1 token producers about to rotate out.

Master's Call, Midnight Haunting, Lingering Souls, Mogg Alarm, Molten Birth, Sosuke's Summons, and Gilt-Leaf Ambush, I'd like to introduce you to the newest member of the club, Hive Stirrings.

Going by the art of this card, the flavor of humanoid slivers becomes a little easier to swallow.

Seriously, tho. These two sliver 'younglings' are shown still having their iconic scythe hand and still have a bit of a beak shape. Which means that these slivers don't automatically look like humans, but have just evolved to fit their situation.
