This card is a blast. I love flexible white cards that let you pass the turn with your mana untapped.
It is especially fun with "enters the battlefield" effects to make it even more efficient. Glimmerpoint Stag for instance allows you to have an instant speed answer to almost any permanent that leaves a 3/3 vigilance on the field afterwards. And both of these cards combo with all the other ETB creatures you put in the deck.

Getting reprinted in Heroes vs. Monsters — now who expected that?

"Hey, remember Miraculous Recovery? I have this idea for a mechanic in Dark Ascension..."

Better than Breath of Life if you intend to exploit the instant mechanic.

{thinks about the flavor, and the usage of a +1/+1 counter This may have a decent chance of being reprinted in Avacyn Restored. (Now watch me get refuted in a few months...)

@Lord_of_Tresserhorn: Ironically, Undying is anything but white in Dark Ascension and Avacyn Restored, but we did see an actual spiritual successor in Defy Death.

Instant speed makes this pretty rad. Suprise blockers are funny.

I read "treat that creature as though it were just played" as "treat that creature as though it were cast." Or, in other words, "Cast target creature card from your graveyard without paying its mana cost." Apparently it just means "that creature has summoning sickness."

White's answer to Vigor Mortis, but this is more splashable than that. The Elephant token in the room, however, is that this is an instant, not a sorcery. This makes it exponentially more fun and well worth the extra manum (Singular of mana?). For example, my opponent attacked with a pumped-up, enchanted 14/14 shade when I had about 5 life and only a Tireless Tribe. After declare attackers, he Terrored the Tribe. In response, I discarded a Phytohydra, then it immediately made a Miraculous Recovery just in time to block. Then I played Double Cleave on HIS shade. The shade died and I had almost a 30/30 on hand to attack on my turn. Game over. Try having that much fun with Breath of Life.
