Typhoid Rats in Green.
Judging by the flavor text, this is the scorpion that killed Orion (or at least, his Theros counterpart).

Strictly worse than Wasteland Viper unfortunately, but should see its fair share of Limited play.

That sure is a big scary monster you have there. Shame all I have is this little scorpion. :3

I want a 1/1 death-touching blue crab called Cancer. It will never see print, because deathtouch isn't blue. But I still want it.

Green also has 8 common one drop deathtouch creatures now, plus two with flash (Ambush Viper and Winged Coatl). With Viridian Longbow you have some serious board control. Throw in some already solid Pauper cards like Trinket Mage, Hunger of the Howlpack and Bonesplitter.

Maybe viable with 8post dying?

Took me a moment to understand what Lord_of_Tresserhorn was getting at. It's because the other sedge cards are red with a black regeneration clause.

ALL HAIL THE SEDGE SCORPION! A scorpion so overpowered for its cost they had to print at least 6 more indestructible creatures just to give the format answers for this little blighter.

This card is an homage to Scorpio, Slayer of Orion.

Love cards like this. This is technically a green removal spell on turn 1. Hilarious to watch your opponent react to this thing.
