Well, I like the Apocalypse art more, still... This is a fine card. Not overpowered, but balanced. I guess its main use will be to kill Planeswalkers, but it's nice to know that it can also finish off players who are low on health, or kill all sorts of creatures. The life gain ain't that important, but certain decks and Commanders make good use of it. And that it's an X-spell, it means that it can kill utility creatures early on, while being able to kill about any creature or planeswalker later on while giving you a good amount of life.
