Excuse me, would you rather I have my 5 flying power spread out or all in one?

Your opponent pays the tribute by saying, "Hey, you ever tried fried doves? They're delicious."

@SpaceMagic: The wheels are for takeoff, landing, taxiing around the runway, etc.

Both sides of the Tribute are roughly the same, so pretty good overall. You'll be getting 5 flying power for 3WhiteWhite either way.

Reminds me of Cloudgoat Ranger and Scion of Vitu-Ghazi. Good card for the cost, and a win-win on the Tribute ability.

Her name is a combination of ornithos "bird" and archon, "leader/ruler". So in essence she is the ruler of birds. I must say that is a most elegant and regal way of flying.

Probably the worst card name I have ever seen

Regardless, this is one of the best tribute cards. You'll get 5 power in the air, no matter what. Nice finisher for limited.

Regardless of the century, plane, or species, developing artificers never fail to invent the ornithopter. Unless it's Theros, in which case you get doves and a flying chariot with redundant wheels. Also, does that look like "two" Birds to you?* Where did Clint Cearley learn to count?*

*Rhetorical Question

This is one of the most BALANCED (if not THE most balanced) tributes in Born of the Gods, in the sense that, whatever you choose, the outcome of either choice are very VERY close the other in many situations.
Ironically, I'm not sure I like the tribute mechanic to be "this" balanced. I mean, Tribute is often seen as a punisher mechanic (and with reason imo), BUT I do not like this, in the sense that there's no virtual choice to choose from. It's true that you (as an opponent), can choose accordingly depending on the removal/board situation which favors you the most, so it's not as bad as it may seem. But if I compare this to the other Tribute cards, it just seems that the choice isn't as contrasted as with the other cards.

Again, I LIKE this card in that it's an over the curve creature which will always bring 5 power and 5 toughness to the table, BUT I "sort of" dislike the balancing of the tribute on this card in the sense that the choices aren't different enough from each other, unl... (see all)
