For maximum flavor, use this to copy someone with echo. No, I don't care how much of a pain the resultant mana cost might be.

First flavor. The Vorthos in me did a little somersault when it saw this. Yes! Yes! Yes! Wizards you are beautiful. Let me kiss myself- I mean you! I love how it evokes the myth but doesn't replicate it exactly - but the image reflects that. Reflects me. Reflects deep into my soul . . . *stares lovingly into the card*

Second - two of these and an Archaeomancer, or Mnemonic wall seems fun. Or this, Archaeomancer and two wake the reflections? Shenanigans.

I don't think this needed to be triple-blue, but instant-speed Cloning is awesome (since it can generate card advantage when done right); and Scry 2 can also come in handy if you know that you really want that copy immediately in your turn.

I love that they referenced the story of Narcissus (albeit it was almost ineviable that they'd do that in this block).

But I'm a bit puzzled about the flavor.
So one of your creatures loves its own reflection so much that it can't keep its eyes away from it. This seems less like an effect of an illusory reflection than one that constrains (doesn't untap during upkeep) or even kills the creature.

I'd say it's a pretty good card that could see some constructed play in Mono-Blue Devotion due to being able to copy Master of Waves so you technically end up with 8 of it in your deck. The scry is for 2 is added in for a nice touch.

I always approve it when blue gets the best card of sweet spell cycle.

For funsies, target Artisan of Forms with this to receive two copies of the best creature on the battlefield.

Obviously inspired by the legend of Narcissus, who was so beautiful that he fell in love with his reflection in the water. In this case, I guess the reflection is even more lifelike!

This card is a lot better than most of the populate spells from ravinica. ... this makes me feel bad. still, a great card, with a nice scry added in.

For all the water on the art this isn't very splashable.
