Excellent burn.
Nice delayed trigger effect too. Nowhere does it state that Searing blood is the thing that actually has to kill the creature. Can be used to shoot a critical two points against a fatty in combat, for example.

Interesting interaction with Satyr Firedancer. Deals 2 damage to target creature, 3 damage to player, followed by an additional 3 to another creature.

Remember that Searing Blaze was at a time when Lightning Bolt was the standard for burn. And suddenly this card seems very good.

Not only does your blood boil inside your body, but the pressure builds up enough that your skin splits open and you spray the planeswalker standing next to you.
